Self Replication
We realize that the operation described above isn't really self-replication in the
technical sense. That would require passing a duplicate of the parent object to the child,
which would then rez this duplicate as a grandchild. The grandchild, in turn, would be given a
copy of the child for use in rezzing a great-grandchild, and so on. Some truly amazing work has been done
using this kind of process, combined with a form of artificial evolution. We don't know if there is
a pithy term for the kind of uncontrolled, centralized production and remote learning described in
the this storyline. If there is, we've never heard it. So we'll stick with the popularized,
though less accurate, terminology.
